Owned since january 2016. Setup: Optical out from Samsung TV into a creative gx6 then optical into an smsl amp to two of these in the corners of a larger living room for stereo TV. The horn tweeter and sealed box on these creates the magic of much more expensive speakers. I’ve tried to upgrade these twice now. First to a pair of axiom m60 (1500$.) As floorstanding the m60 could not beat these FH6-LCR mounted in the corner of the living room. Second failed upgrade was to martin logan 4i mounted in the corner. Again the ribbon tweeter sounded good and even cleaner but narrow and smaller. They did not fill the room with vocals and highs like these do. The soundstage also sounded 1/3 the size of these fh6-lcr. For example Bryan Adam’s unplugged song Heaven 03:57 has woodwinds in the background. With these cheap speakers I can hear the woodwinds fill the room. 4i’s can barely here and only notice since I know its there. My main complaint is that these 100$ speakers are so good that I cannot find wall mountable speakers that really beat them. So apparently I need BIC America to release this similair design but somehow significantly approved for between 500-1500$. Read more

Update 11/01/20: Wow, I don’t remember not liking them. I have been using them for about 2 or 3 years and was thinking of adding two more for Atmos front height speakers, if that says anything about how much I like them. I have not had any issues. I mainly use them for TV/Movies and they sound great! They are the left and right speakers in the picture, the center is an old Speakercraft that still sounds great too! After this purchase, I also upgraded to the BIC 12″ sub and it is amazing! Original review: I just bought these to replace my Paradigm Titan v3’s that I had been using for my front left and right channels and they don’t sound near as good. I should also mention that the horns do not sound like they match each other, but I will get some other ears to see what they think. I will also retest every weekend to see if they break in and sound better, but if I don’t hear some improvement by then I will probably return them. I will try and remember to update here as well. First off i want to say was a little skeptical and had some doubt about if this center channel speaker. Because i never heard of the name brand Bic so i had to do some research and was pleased to learn that it is a American brand. I am a Polk Audio fan all of my speakes are Polk Audio and there also American. Anyways when the speaker arrived i was surprise on how well it was packaged then opened the box picked the center speaker up and the build quality also surprised. Hooked it up to my Sony receiver and cast some good music 🎵 to my tv started listening have to say 😲 wow can’t believe what im hearing absolutely love it. Im getting there flagship speakers the whole set. You have to hear it to believe me. Go get you one or a pair asap you won’t be disappointed. 🙂 Read more

Opened the box, inside is a bunch of sawdust from the speaker box,ok no problem. Upon further inspection, the bottom of the speaker grill is protruding from the box.Ok again no big deal. Then i removed the grill, the speaker ring that bolts it down,is completely free, with 4 screws rolling around inside assembly. I removed speaker, inspected housing, and screws look to be ripped from the speaker box, hence all of the saw dust. So i just used the same screws, fastened them in different location, and all is well, however,my box is irreparably damaged but sounds fine, not happy will not recommend. Read more

I’m in the process of upgrading my HTIB 5.1 system. In 2009 I bought a Denon/Boston Acoustics System. This served me well for 5 years until the sub went out. The small satellite speakers really lacked bass response on their own, which made the audio experience less than ideal. Being on a tight budget, I had some Klipsch KSB 3.1 bookshelf speakers that I started using as my fronts. This added the much needed mid bass the small speakers lack. The only problem with this is, the Boston Acoustics center didn’t match well with the Klipsch fronts. So I started reading lots of reviews on multiple websites. I kept coming back to the many positive BIC America FH6-LCR reviews and finally bought it. I’ve been using it for 6 weeks now and after adjusting my Denon AVR-488 I was very happy with the balanced & blend of sound in the front. Dialog is clear and has a much larger presence than before. I never played it loud until last night when watching the Banshee S3.1 premier. About halfway through there’s a scene in a club that had a pulsing bass beat. That really proved to me what this speaker is capable of. It was pounding out each thump with ease. Granted, it’s not earth shaking 12″ sub bass, but it’s definitely good enough for now. I still need that replacement sub, but for me it’s not the priority it was before adding this excellent BIC America FH6-LCR to the mix. I’m only looking at Bic America for my future surround speaker and sub options. I may get some Bic towers and move the Klipsch to surround duty, but that’s for another day and review. Read more
