I watched oluv’s gadget review on YouTube. I trust his reviews and haven’t been disappointed yet. These speakers looked and sounded darn good during his review. In person I’m even more impressed with the solid build quality and sound of the EarFun UBOOM.One of these speakers sounds great, but pair two with the true wireless stereo feature and they are amazing. If you’re in need of more volume and stereo sound, plus the added flexibility of placing speakers in different areas for better reach of sound, I would strongly recommend getting two of these speakers. The sound is very clear and balanced and there’s enough bass. It’s pleasing to my ear, but keep in mind every ear is different. The sound is well balanced and it has sparkle and clarity. If you place these speakers in a central area and move around them, the 360° sound will surround you.The speaker has an indoor and outdoor mode. Indoor mode has more bass. Outdoor mode has higher volume. I prefer the indoor mode for the additional bass, because I normally don’t play my music at higher volume levels. Outdoor mode will be useful for folks who want to crank up the volume or for large gatherings.Pairing these speakers is easy. I made a video demonstrating how you pair the speakers. I also play a small part of a non-copyright song to give you an idea of the sound. I filmed this with my iPhone, so it may not do the speaker complete justice. I posted several pictures as well. Please excuse the video and smoothness of delivery, because I’m a rookie at doing videos like this one. Thanks. You can get two of these speakers for the price of one of the other name brand speakers and these sound just as good, if not better. I can recommend the UBOOM. It’s a great value. I hope this review helps.Non-copyright music played in video: Kaibu – KillercatsRead more

I’m a big music fan and always have to have music on when I’m working, driving, working out, reading and so on. Being such a fanatic, over the years I’ve amassed a little collection of headphones (ranging from Sony, Grado, Sennheiser, V-Moda, Koss etc) to better enjoy different types of music ranging from rock, alternative, reggae to electronic. For my computer, I use a pair of Kanto YU2 speakers with DAC and Yamaha sub to groove while I work. And for wireless speakers, I’ve set up my home with the Denon’s Heos 7’s that are connected to my home’s wifi and sound pretty amazing. And to round things out, I also have several bluetooth speakers from Sony (SRS XB3 & SRS X55), a Doss XL, a Tribit X-Boom and a pair of Ultimate Ears all which I rotate to use in my workout room, master bath, outdoor patio and for travel use.Have been a long time subscriber to Olav’s Gadgets (previously Clavinet Junkie) channel on Youtube and have purchased a couple speakers (a Doss XL & the Tribit X-Boom) based on his recommendations and have been pleasantly surprised. Then a few weeks back (early July ’19, I believe) Olav demonstrated the new Earfun UBoom and compared it to the Tribit X-Boom (which was his previously recommended portable BT speaker) and I thought this new speaker sounded amazing as it sounded clearer, cleaner and had better definition. And when he paired two Earfun’s together (and they play separate left and right channels/stereo as opposed to many other BT speakers including the Tribit which just plays mono) the sound was more dynamic and didn’t have that muddiness that the Tribit X Boom has. Then Olav mentioned he had a coupon code for Amazon for 20% off and I was sold and I decided to buy a pair to enjoy the richer soundstage. The Earfun UBoom is a nice little speaker. It’s relatively small, lightweight, waterproof with IPX7 rating and well-built. And it has a very well balanced sound for a speaker this size and packs a lot of oomph. When I first got my new speaker, I decided to do some tests and compare it to my other BT speaker the Tribit X-Boom. First I played a track from Spotify (using high bit rate mode) to the the Tribit X-Boom, which at the time I thought sounded pretty good until I listened and compared it to the Earfun UBoom. The Tribit played the track and it sounded good with great treble but seemed very bassy and muddy. Played the same track again with the Earfun and this little speaker showcased the track better with a more balanced, richer and expanded sound. I did this over and over and I kept getting the same result. The Earfun was now prompting me to make it my BT speaker of choice over the Tribit. But since I purchased two Earfun’s, I decided to place one speaker on either side of my workout room and see how that sounded. And I was blown away as the speakers made the music seem more immersive and truly enveloped the room with music. So if you’re looking for a great little speaker(s) for medium to large room that’s well built, waterproof and sounds well-balanced, look no further than the Earfun UBoom – you won’t be disappointed.Read more

Really amazed at how good these sound. These actually have bass. We’re talkin about that deep rich bass. A little booming bass. They due fade at higher volumes and maxed out but under 80% rivals the big name brands. You’ll want to get 2 of them for TWS. It’s clear crisp full and rich sounding. There is a slight delay a little latency with videos but it’s not to bad. Use just one speaker the latency is hardly noticeable. Not disappointed one bit though. 😉Update: Missed the sale when these were at $40. When they go on sale again I’ll be sure to pick up another pair. These are awesome when you have 4 of them paired together. 2 sets in TWS connected dual audio. A buddy of mine has a pair and we were experimenting. Connected both sets. The sound is awesome.Read more
