    I used to really like Asurion, but they changed. Weather it was to many claims or something, but I told myself never again. And here I am, feeling very frustrated. I bought a Router and the extended warranty, the router is been giving me problems for a while now. I call in the warranty and Asurion is going to send me my money back, prefect! Only not until I send them the defected one, So I have to spend the money to get my money back and than they wanted to give me an Amazon gift card? So not only do I either pay for the router twice or I go without internet for however long it takes them to reimburse my account. I can buy a $1500 phone and they don’t have a problem with them waiting for me to send them back there $1300 phone back. I feel like I’m dealing with a cheap Auto parts store, where they warranty the product but you still have to take it off to get it replaced.Read more

    They make it very difficult to submit a claim. Then pick it apart so you have to resubmit. Then act as if they are waiting on you and do nothing. I have in the past, but will never buy their coverage again. BTW the manufacturer stepped up and refunded the full price to me even though they did not have to.Read more

    Asurion is the better of the Amazon warranties, they automatically keep copies. My only compliant is that they don’t put what product you bought on the invoice and I have some I have no idea what it goes for. That is something Amazon should correct, I’m sure I’m not the only one. I have another to review and no idea what it was for.Read more

    They never sent any paper work for the protection plan. This was a gift and when the recipient, a widow with breast cancer, called for phones not working due to a power surge, all she got was the run around. ADDED Later: I contacted ASurion online and they gave me instructions for a claim and an apology. So, at this point, I am waiting to see how this all turns out.Read more

    Just like insurance on your car, you pay for it, but hope you never have to use it!.I have not seen the actual contract (I will be contacting the company for a copy) but I hope there are not too many EXCLUSIONS as in many warranties and insurance policies. It is IMPOSSIBLE to accurately rate this protection plan until I read the actual contract, but I am hoping for the best.Read more
