Okay so to be fair we are talking about a small, single speaker, made for wireless use. Wireless sound systems tend to have a bit less punch so they can have better battery life and this is a small unit which is the point really. That said the construction feels solid, buttons are decent enough, a little squishy but not bad. The clip feels good and the rubberized back also is nice as is the metal grill in front. Will the sound blow your mind? No. But again considering what we are talking about it’s sound is not bad at all, the volume is certainly good enough and the mids and lows sound fine with juuuuust a touch muddiness but not bad at all. Where the sound fails for me is in the highs. They’re pretty blunted. Its there but lacks that piercing snap of higher end audio. Over all it is good, I would have given it a 4 star if it had a next and previous button but without that and the somewhat (and I stress only somewhat) lacking audio it’s a 3 star for me.Read more

This was a refurbished product. The only thing that I don’t like is that someone or the manufacturer “glued” the screen back onto the speaker with super glue, instead of replacing it with a new screen.Read more

I own the Flip 4, UE Roll 2, Onyx 4. I think I had higher expectations after using these others. It definitely sounds good, but as far as the sound output. It’s not as loud as I was expecting. There isn’t a out of low end. I usually connect my Onyx 4 and flip 4 together and can’t connect this . Kinda strange. I do like the highs and the clarity of this speaker. I do wish there was a way to turn off the Bluetooth connected sound. The flip 4 in my opinion dominates.Read more

I love the Clip. since they banned the use of ear buds and or headphones where I work I one upped management. How ? do you ask!. Well I wear the clip hanging from my 12mm stainless steel chain around my neck. This way I hear my tunes and not other peoples everywhere I walk. As we can use a radio at personal levels. I keep my phone in my pocket and play from storage. Clip3 will die without charging a bit during lunch about an hour before quitting time. I work 8 hour shift. Sound is great, almost amazing from one small speaker. I always clip around my neck chain, even when I am on my gasbike I hear my tunes and all else is drowned out. If 2 will work in tandem I will get another. The clip rules!!!Read more

I bought this for a trip to Vegas and was not disappointed! I could walk around Fremont listening to my smooth jazz and it had plenty of volume and clarity to cut through the normal daytime background noise from traffic, street performers, etc. It filled up my little 250 sq. ft hotel room with A LOT of sound for such a small package. The battery life seemed fine, but I never really had it on unplugged for more than 4 hours at a time. All in all, great buy for the money, imo.Edit: The battery life is superb! I easily get up to 8 hours of play at full volume on a full charge. The clip on mine sucks, broke the 3rd time I used it, but that is my only gripe.Read more

The sound quality is amazing. I use it primarily for phone calls – in place of my iPhone’s speakerphone feature. While having the first conversation using it, a family member came into the room to say ‘hi’ to the person I was talking to. She thought that person was in the room with me! As Secretary of my HOA, I purchased a second one for the association and used it for a board meeting to help members who participated by conference call. It worked great, and the recording made by the conference call service was the best ever.Read more

My husband really wanted a portable speaker for work but needed something with a clip as he is always hands on with things. The clip broke after 1 month of use and the speaker’s cover fell off but we super glued it back. It was “renewed” however I think the next time my husband buys something similar, we will get it brand new. I was hoping it would have lasted longer than this though.Read more

These work almost perfectly for needs, I use them for pink noise (a touch more bass than white noise) in the bedroom – one on either side of the room.1. You cannot set two of these up with Bluetooth on the same device – that was my plan, but instead I’ve had to use the audio connection with a splitter2. When I DO use one for listening to music using Bluetooth, it’s like using one earbud – half the song will drop off because there isn’t a right and left speaker and these aren’t set for combining the two – this is a big question mark because you shouldn’t have to put your device on “mono” just to get the full sound – but that’s the deal. If you use the audio jack, you get the full sound.3. I’ve never been able to find out if these are waterproof because I’ve always got them wired.4. I have no idea how long the battery lasts because if I’m connecting an audio cable, I may as well keep them on the chargers, too.5. The sound quality is fine when you use an audio cable. Unpredictable via Bluetooth.I’m not thrilled with how I’ve had to set these up, but it works for what I need – I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone, though.Read more
