These were more expensive than some other Sonos wall mounts but I thought the components were made of metal so figured they were worth the price. The Sonos speakers are so heavy that I felt more comfortable not using plastic. Well, bummer all of the parts that fit the Sonos Play 1 are plastic. The parts that I didn’t use were all metal and this is my biggest gripe. This set of mounts is created to accommodate many different Sonos speakers so you are paying for an incredible amount of waste. This feels obscene to not only pay for all of this but to throw away 3/4’s of what’s in the box. Really irritating that the actual brackets – every piece I used – were plastic. Grrrrr ALL of the pieces I threw away were metal. Can I say that one more time? ALL of the pieces were metal and I paid a lot of money for PLASTIC.Even if you have a different style speaker, the actual mount that holds all the different speakers, is plastic. So you will not escape this either.Read more

These look just fine when mounted… however, the way these are designed, the “sync” button on the back of the Sonos One is fully covered up. This makes it impossible to press the button if you ever need to re-sync your speakers. I have to find a small knife and slip it through a tiny crack in order to hit that button. It’s very poorly designed if you’re using Sonos One speakersRead more

Easy to “assemble” and install. For Sonos Ones however, the only metal piece is the mounting bracket that is screwed into wall. That is very solid. The piece that the speakers sit against however is plastic. It has give to it – meaning both that the speaker easily wobbles if touched and it does not sit quite flush with the wall – the plastic pulls down and away from the weight of the speaker. Also the color is off – more “dingy” or yellow hued that the bright white speaker. (Being a matte plastic doesn’t help either) Finally, the small plastic piece that slides under the speaker is next to impossible to get off once mounted and attached. Generally not a problem aside from (at least my) Sonos system and individual speakers randomly and frequently disappearing from the app, and taking them down is quite a bit easier to work with/repair than fiddling with them on the wall. But that is a different review for a different time.Read more

I did a ton of research before purchasing these wall mounts as I had a very clear vision of how I wanted my Sonos speakers to look on my wall. I wanted to be able to mount them in the corner up by the ceiling. Some other mounts would allow this but you’d still see the mount and it detracted from the sleek look of the Sonos One. These mounts however allowed for the exact mounting esthetic I was going for and it is secure! I’ve never installed speakers or any sort of electronic before so I was a total newbie but the end results look like a pro did it. Even my dad was impressed! I highly recommend these. I plan on getting another speaker soon and when I do I will certainly be buying another one of these mounts along with it!Read more

Got these for the Ones (no mounting points) and they are pretty good. It seems like the designer put in time to really tailor these for Sonos, and it shows. They look clean and classy, and the packaging and instructions were professional. My only complaint is they seem a little overpriced and the plastic joints aren’t quite as strudy as I’d like them to be. Also, I bought 4 of them and one rattles a little. I’m not sure if it’s the mount itself or the type of paint it’s next to, but it’s annoying. Overall I’d recommend these for the Sonos One’s.Read more

Had some concerns about mounting my Ones but the directions were straight forward/easy to follow & the mounts hold the One’s securely in place.Read more

These work well and were pretty quick to install for a set of Play: One’s.. It took about 20 minutes to figure out the first one and 10 minutes to do the second. Easy to adjust angles, but doesn’t have a way to lock the angles down so an inadvertent bump could change the positioning of the brackets. Lots of pieces in the box and took a few minutes to figure out which ones were needed based on speaker model.Read more

Well built for the most part. I was able to mount my Sonos Play:1 speakers rather easily. It would be nice if you could “lock in” the side to side adjustment, but I doubt they will move much indoors (maybe a tad from the bass)….outdoors would be a problem due to wind punishing the speakers. Overall, pretty well built and easy to install.Read more
