  1. Your old pal, Marcus Alexander Hart

This Pyle Portable PA system works great for karaoke when paired with any tablet or phone with a Bluetooth connection (or with the included AUX cable). Karaoke videos are available for free on YouTube, and there are also karaoke apps you can use such as KaraFun. The Bluetooth worked perfectly for my needs, so I never tested any of the other inputs. The included wireless microphone works great, though it is directional. You need to sing/speak into the top of it, not the sides. I plugged in a second wireless microphone (The “Singing Machine” one sold on Amazon) and both mics worked together flawlessly on the same volume control. With its long-lasting battery and included shoulder strap, this system is truly portable. I took one on a cross-country road trip/karaoke party and it performed admirably. We went over 500 miles through temperatures up to 115 degrees Fahrenheit and never had a single problem with this speaker. Even when it got covered in flour and silly string. My only complaint is that when the device is set to Bluetooth mode and no sound is being played, the speaker makes distorted electronic crackles. They don’t go away, even if you turn the volume all the way down. The noise is inaudible when sound is playing, so this defect doesn’t significantly detract from the quality of the device. If you’re looking for portable karaoke fun, the Pyle Portable Speaker Karaoke PA System is your jam!(Note: I did not receive a free or discounted unit for this review. I bought this, for realz, and reviewed it.)Read more

This is a rad speaker! Great for parades, informal karaoke, and giving compliments to people a top 80’s love jams. It’s lightweight and looks like a cute purse. Also, the battery lasts longer than advertised!A couple other things:- The microphone is really bad, just grab one with an 1/8” output from a thrift shop or on here for a few bucks. I thought I might only be kind of bad, but it’s not even worth using.- This is not a professional sound system! This is a really cool toy and way better than most little Bluetooth speakers. I would never dream of running a professional DJ or karaoke event with this. That’s just silly. I wouldn’t even use it for hosting trivia, although in a pinch it could work. Please don’t show up to a professional gig with this little cutie and expect it to fill a loud club. (Don’t get me we wrong, this is plenty loud, but it’s not a PA speaker.)💖💖💖Read more

We purchased this speaker for our daughter for her birthday. She immediately noticed and appreciated the lights on the front. It is light enough for a 5 year old to carry around and is rechargeable so I don’t have to follow her around and make sure it is turned off. The Bluetooth feature is great so I can help her select and change music without having to be tethered to the speaker. We rarely adjust any of the volume settings on the side but a more advanced user might use additional mics or effects.Overall the sound quality is good for kids listening and singing but wouldn’t be great for a large venue or actual PA. The mic is sensitive and works well but it is better suited for small room karaoke than anything else. Both the mic and the speaker have seen some heavy use and occasional drops from the kids and still function fine. I’ve had to take the mic apart (no tools needed – you can twist the top off) and reset the on/off switch after a few particularly hard falls but it continues to work. We’ve had a lot of fun watching the kids use this and appreciate the fact that they can easily take it to another room when we’ve heard enough. Fun overall.Read more

I anticipate it will be a good unit. I originally purchased a singing machine unit with cd+g, which is my only gripe with this 1, no cd player, but could turn out to be a good thing. The microphone sucks, no really it sucks. Wireless mic was only reason i purchased for my 6year old, the singing machine unit mic plug socket went out the 2nd day. So i figured Pyle was old named brand and no microphone cord, why not give a try. It has decent speaker sound, all opinions seem to work, radio &bluetooth. Mic hums with no bluetooth music, but if you turn off mic no hum noise. Im pleased with unit so ,small enough for a child, i would trade the wireless mic for cd+g anyday. But I will keep the unit plus i got 4 year warranty, may get better microphone and really have a great karaoke for my daughter. i just refused to purchase anything with the singing machine logo/design on it.Read more

Absolute disappointment! I don’t know how some people gave good reviews, probably it was an older stock, the new system sucks. The microphone is really cheap, did not work at all, you had to tap it really hard to get any sound at all out into the speaker, in fact it had pieces inside that rattled when you move it – just terribly cheap and broken! The speaker makes a very loud whistle whenever you turn it on and the quality of sound is extremely poor, worst than our $5 radio alarm! Only fun feature were the lights but of course, with the microphone broken and the speaker being terrible quality, we are returning this right away. I honestly don’t know how bad a company has to be to have the guts to send you something broken and poorly functioning like this and charge you $70 for it!!!!! We bought this to give as a present and struggled to find a new gift in time costing us even more money and now the hassle to return it – save yourself the trouble, do *not* buy!!!(Picture of the flimsy, non-functioning plastic toy microphone added FYI)Read more
