Bought 2 from Amazing Deals Online on the Amazon website. One does not work at all. Contacted Klipsch. Klipsch told me that Amazing Deals Online on the Amazon website DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR WARRANTY COVERAGE. Do not buy from Amazing Deals Online/Read more

A HUGE improvement over my existing in ceiling speakers. The rest of the system was already Klipsche, but I had some 5in yamahas in the ceiling. I blew one of them out when watching the recently remaster UHD version of The Matrix (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED), so I got these.Worth every penny. But I have a problem, now I want to get 2 more and make it a 7.2.4 system. Damn this home theater bugRead more

I replaced three of the five 6″ ceiling speakers the builder installed. The builder put in decent $100-150 each speakers but I wasn’t happy with the “tin can” (not full) sound. Installation was easy as I just needed to enlarge the cut out for 8″ speakers. I turned on the music and for the first time, I could really hear the full spectrum. Mind you, I have a 15″ SVS Subwoofer paired with these, but the sound is just amazing enough to inspire me to write this review. I am buying two more 8″ to replace the back surround speakers. I realize the 6″ is probably fine for the back channels, but I like these speakers so much I’m going all in, at least as far as my 5.1 configuration permits.Read more

These are my first atmos speakers.I installed these along with a Marantz Sr8012The pivoting speaker is a nice effect. Especially when properly mounted and in line with my tower speakers that are 10ft apart. Its nice to be able to play with position of the tweeter sperate of the woofer. Not sure if I can hear a difference when changing the angle, not yet at least. These speakers produce a clean powerful sound. I am very pleased with them. They balance very well with the rest of Klipsch speakers. The magnetic grills are nice, although I think they look better with them off. But after a while black and gold speakers in the ceiling are very noticeable.I’m very please with the sound that is coming from them. The atmos upgrade was worth the time and money. And these speaker do a great job adding to that experience.Read more

Install was easy using the mce-800 enclosure. Will update after running the Denon calibration software. Using 4 of these for height speakers in a dts:x/Atmos setup.Did some sampling. Great for Atmos/Dts:X.May have to upgrade my other channels to Klipsch…. It never ends.Read more

I am using 2 pair of these for atmos height in center and rear of room. Ingenious design really, super easy to install (getting wire to them is another story). Comes with a template to trace onto ceiling which makes following the lines with a drywall saw easy. Be sure to run a stud finder first, map the studs out and find spots between them. The speaker housing was much bigger and taller than i expected. After cutting your hole, hook up the wires and push speaker up into place, i recommend using a impact driver on soft setting if available, the screws turning will deploy the dogs and clamp the drywall. The woofers only swivel on one axis, so take note of direction when installing to be able to angle towards listening position. The tweeter swivels freely. The magnetic grill snaps strongly into place, no concern of them falling down.Working great for a 7.2.4 home theaterRead more

Acquired a few of these for a whole-house sound system, replacing some original “builder-grade” speakers that frankly sound bad. Very first thing one notices is the misleading marketing, these simply do not have 8″ diameter woofers. They are actually 7″ and the rigid center part is 5-3/4″. These do sound noticeably better than the speakers they replace in mid- and high frequency range. Wiring is done with spring-based quick connectors, without having any screws one could tighten properly (fixing a loose wire inside ceiling may not be a trivial task). Installation appears to be easy, just don’t over-tighten to crush the drywall, and templates for cutting are included. Magnetic covers are great. Worth the price? Not sure. Seems high when comparing what one can get in shelf speaker format (arguably higher volume stuff). These did solve the problem of lousy sound quality, and while the quality isn’t nowhere close to good floor standing speakers, these work well for casual background music.Read more
