I’ve always used skullcandy headphones and never had a problem with them. My old ones were 5 years old and been through the wash many times and never broke. Until one wash later killed them. So I had to buy new ones, saw these and they’re the exact same as my old ones and bought for the price. I opened them to find out they’re defective and I am having a tough time returning them now. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS MANUFACTURER. Please buy from the store, where you can return if there is an issue. Not making this mistake again…. :(Read more

These are not the earbuds pictured or described on the page. I have been looking for Skullcandy Ink’d earbuds without the phone controls for months. I saw these, read the description, which did not mention phone controls and looked at the picture that does not contain phone controls and though I had find the headphones I was looking for. Nope, these have the controls in the cord. That being said, I still gave them three stars because the headphones still sound exceptional for $12 and the flat cable design does not tangle easily. I would recommend them to anyone looking for low cost headphones that have decent passive noise cancellation, they achieve this by fitting tight in the ears like earplugs would, and decent base for the small speakers.Read more

Skullcandy headphones are my favorite. They’re the only ones I use because of the sound quality. With that said, the quality is not there with these. The sound is tinny and awful, like it’s distant. I have to turn my volume way high in order to hear with these, which is something I didn’t have to do with previous pairs of these headphones. I have heard that these headphones have been subject to counterfeiting recently, so I wonder if I have a fake pair given the massive difference between this set and pairs I previously owned. I’m disappointed and would give these zero stars if I could.Read more

So I have used these earbuds pretty religiously, and wow I don’t know what happened, but the quality has gone way down. The sound quality is fine, it’s actually pretty good. I have had earbuds with way worse sound for a much higher price. What is driving me insane is that I have to keep buying new pairs roughly every two to three months, when before, it used to be roughly once a year. Now, after about two months, something happens to the jack and sound only comes out from one ear. Sound will come through both earbuds if I hold the jack just the right way. Which isn’t exactly doable, when I need it in my pocket when I’m working. Also, I’ll keep using them for roughly two to three weeks with just one earbud working, and then they die completely. I understand you get what you pay for, but only two months is an awful short lifespan.Read more

Please note that this review is mostly for the seller and some for the product as mentioned below.I purchased these headphones based on the picture and description which DESCRIBED the same product of Ink’d mic-less headphones I’ve purchased in the past (which are now discontinued by Skullcandy) from actual local stores. I’ve also purchased the Ink’d headphones with the microphone before as well which I can purchase pretty much anywhere still. The Ink’d headphones with the microphone DO NOT sound near as good as the Ink’d headphones without the microphone. Due to the manufacturer no longer making the Ink’d microphone-less headphones, I began searching online for them and came across these. Very happy I was to be able to stock up on a couple more sets of these trusty great sounding Ink’d earbuds…. HOWEVER, the seller does not include that these headphones have the inline microphone!! NOWHERE ANYWHERE in the sellers description does it mention the inline mic at all! ….Sigh….Now I have another two sets of less then great sounding Ink’d headphones that will be stuffed in a drawer for ages. Returning these for a refund will be a waste of time for the cost it would be for shipping them back. The seller will be reported to Amazon for false and incomplete description of the product they’re selling. After my purchase, I read SEVERAL reviews of others complaining about the same thing. Lesson learned- always read the reviews before purchasing anything…One thumbs up for Skullcandy (they make quality headphones)Three giant thumbs down to the seller for incomplete/false description and advertising.Read more

One plus is that these are really easy to take traveling, because the flattened cord design seems to keep the earbuds untangled. One con is that these can feel a bit uncomfortable in your ears after a while, and you’ll probably end up readjusting them inn your ears every twenty minutes or so. Better sound quality than Apple earbuds, but if you want the volume/pause+play functionality, that doesn’t always work with these earbuds. Not a big deal to me, and I’ll probably end up buying these again when my current pair eventually breaks.Read more
