I bought “new” from Walnut Hill Sales. This item looks like it’s seen a *lot* of shelf life, and perhaps more. The top of the “white” plate is yellowed. Perhaps some black stuff (charcoal?) got in one package and smeared on the product.I’ve seen people complain about the orientation of the insertion point for the wires, and was worried about this aspect, too. I’m happy to report that the orientation of the terminals is adjustable, and hereby attach some pictures detailing how they can be adjusted.(It looks like the pictures changed order upon upload, hopefully you can make it out.)Picture 1) the default orientation from the front of the plate, 2) from the back of the plate.Picture 3) Take off the securing nut from the back of the plate on the terminal you wish to adjust, then get an 11mm wrench to loosen the locking nut off the back.Picture 4) Slide the terminal out toward the front of the plate, twist to the desired orientation, and re-insert.Picture 5) Tighten the locking nut back on; two orientations shown. There are only 6 orientations available since an hex shape holds the terminal in place. Also the terminal is symmetrical, so there are practically only 3 orientations.Read more
